The 1837 site has BMD info from 1837 "to date" but I have found that from about 1980 it isn't as complete as they make out. Before that though, I can't complain and have made a lot of headway with it. You have to pay a minimum of 5.00GBP via credit card and it is 10p per search as has already been said, but I think at the moment they have an offer on as they are updating the site and there may be some errors so you get 55 searches for your fiver - not a bad deal. It helps if you know roughly what month people were born /married etc as that could narrow down your search. If you don't have the year, that can sometimes waste a lot of credits trying to find it as you have to check each quarter of each possible year - but I would still say to give it a try. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Can anyone help. I'm trying to find some of my fathers family on most of the sites, but most of them don't go past 1906 or is it just me. sharron
