Has a page disappeared from the tips board? I have a problem getting past checkout on the on-line certificate ordering site and I know there was a similar query on the 11th at 21.02.29. However the first page of queries begins at 22.34.59 and the second page ends at 18.50.21.

Hi Norman I answered a query regarding this problem for someone so I think this is the message your referring to. The problem is likely to be with your firewall or internet protection. You need to check your settings or at lest temporarily disable it. I had the same problem. I gave the same advice to the lady who left the original message and she replied to say that disabling firewall had solved the problem. Hope this is of some help. Julie

I had the same problem yesterday and it was down to my firewall. After disabling the firewall, everything worked OK. Haven't tried again since changing my firewall settings, though.

Hi Norman Sorry you have had problems but as David's message suggests it is definately your firewall blocking you from getting past the 'checkout' stage. Whether disabling this caused your computer to freeze I can't say. Our screen used to freeze quite regularly when we were online but since being on broadband it doesn't seem to happen. My husband has managed to change the settings in firewall to allow access to the online certs purchase and I can also do searches on freeBMD now which I could only do before on his password and settings which was a real pain. Hope you manage to sort it out and can start ordering all those certs!
