Hi Lauren According to the Genuki site Ince was/is 1mile east og Wigan and Goose Green is/was 2 miles South West of Wigan Ann,Darlington

Thanks for that Gary, but for all they are both in Wigan they could be at opposite sides of the town. What I am trying to establish is whether they are so close to each other that they could be classed as the "same" place.

You can easily check these things on the Internet. It took me all of a minute to establish they were both in Wigan by putting the information into Ask Jeeves.

Can anyone tell me whether Ince and Goose Green in Lancashire are located near to each other? Thanks
