1871/1881 Census Lookup, Durham

Hi Debbie, Thanks for that. Was it 1871 or 1881? It looks as if their parents must have been away from home on Census night. I have been looking for Mary Ann on and off since the mid 70s. Trouble is I was looking in the Durham area. Barnsley is quite a move. Jim |

Could one of my kind friends please look at the Collieries area of Durham. I am looking for the family of Mary Ann Close, Daughter of William. She married Robert Heron in Sept 1881. It is believed that her mother ran a pub, possibly the Kings Head at West Cornforth. Thanks Jim, Gosport HAM |
