Catherine I tried to access the website you gave but got the 'page unavailable' message. Is there something missing from the address as I know web addresses don't always come up correctly on these boards. Thanks Lynne

Does anyone know if there was an 1871 census in Ireland please?

Sharon You can't access the census for Ireland. The 1881 & 1891 were destroyed in the fire in 1922. The 1901 & 1911 are available, but I think you would need to ask the Heritage Society for the County you need. Regards Margaret
