Is this her 2nd marriage?

If the child's mother has been married before it would give her (current) married name then 'Late ..... (previous married name) the 'Formerly.... (Maiden name). At least that's what I was told by a GC member some time ago when this was on one of my birth certs. Lynne |

Please can someone tell me - if the mother's name on a birth cert says "Mary Saunders, formerly Langdon" does that mean she was married before rather than Langdon being her maiden name? Sue |
