is there a way to look at a list of surnames on this site? or can you only see whats in your tree,or in a contacts with permission.I have tried trying to find but not many people put messages on there.

You can either click on the search button to the left, or if you go to your name summary page click on a surname which you are researching you have three options search by forenames place where they were born or date of birth I think. also it gives you all the new names for the surnames in your tree. hope I have explained this peroperly. Debbie
