Sorry I should have realised that Price is a common name. The first children were born in Clyro Radnorshire 1850's the next one in Brecknock 1860's the next two in Aberstruth Brynmawr, late 1860's. William wife and children on Glos. Westbury/S 1881 census. Died I believe in Mon. 1898. The name was originally Pricegoor later reduced to Price or Gore, making them difficult to catch up with.

Dorothy, I have been trying to find a John Price b1874 son of a William Price in Monmouthshire and I can tell you it seems to be impossible to trace them, they are such unfortunately common names in that area. I have ordered the 1871 Monmouthshire census on CD but I'm told I won't have it for months yet.

Could some kind person with access to 1891 Census look up William & Mary Price either in Gloucestershire or more likely in Monmouthshire. I have a possible death certificate for him in 1892 listed in Monmouthshire, son Thomas born c1869, son Edward born c1866, son William born c1865?
