Hi Meryl I put in the words ´origins´ and ´surnames´ on the Google search page and the first web site that came up is for family chronicle - look quite good but I´ve only had a quick look. Jeannie

Does anyone know of any websites telling you the origins of surnames? The ones I am interested in are Dent, Crowe, Eke, Shreeve and Dobbs, perhaps someone already knows the origins of these? I would be very grateful. Thanks, Meryl.
