Does anyone know where I can find on line the exact date of death for someone who has died in the last 30 years,thanks Sam :o) |

You won't find the exact date online, the only way you can do it is to find the death record on either FreeBMD or 1837 and apply for the certificate to the register office, giving the reference. Lynne |

If you dont want to shell out for the certificate for relatively recent events and its local to you, the hatches, matches and despatches columns of the local paper is a good way of getting dates and other details, some local newspapers do have an archive on line or most local history libraries will have back copies.
