dear georgina i have found a john lyon on 1891 not sure if right one but here is the info head:john a lyon age:33 county:lancashire civil parish:chorlton-cum-hardy eccl parish:st.clement born northington , cumberland piece:RG12/3164 folio:41 also listed is a elizabeth.a.lyon wife age:26 ruth beriford(unsure if spelling right) mother-in -law and edith . m beriford sister - in - law not sure if spelling of the above is right as it was hard to make out hope this is of some help kaz |
