Hi, Is there any chance that some kind person could look up Richard Watkins and Mary Watkins Enoch Watkins and Charlotte Watkins Benjamin Jones (Born Monmouthshire) and Caroline Jones all on the 1891 census, they would be living in Gloucestershire, Lydbrook it may be under Worrall Hill. These people did not all live in the same house but lived in the same street. I am particularly interested in the address, but would welcome all details that are available. Many thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa I have found the following living at Cammomile Green (?), West Dean, Lydbrook, Gloucestershire. Enoch, Head, 32, widow, coal miner(?) Mary, Mother, 58, widow Reuben, Brother, 17, single Maud, daughter, 6, Horace, son, 4 Jane Teague, servant, 54, widow They were all born in Lydbrook, and I'm not 100% sure about the names Reuben and Horace, since the writing was not too clear. I will look up the other names later, since Ancestry went down due to volume of use. Hope that helps for now.

I found the same for Enoch - but I made the address to be Commonside Green

Thank you so very very much, this explains a lot. I couldnt find some of the people on the 1901 census and from what you have told me it is because some had died and the other parts of the family had moved in together. Youve been a great help. ANy further help with the other names would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again.

Hi again Hazel is right, it is Commonside. There are 8 Benjamin Jones' born in Monmouthshire on the 1891, ranging in age from 12 to 72 years, yet none are living with a Caroline. What sort of age are we looking for?

HI, Benjamins D.O.B as far as I know it is 07 November 1823 so that would make him 68, howver this information has not yet been checked to be 100% true. He had children called Charlotte, Henry, Anna and George. Anna was the youngest and would have been 19 in the 1891 census. hope this helps.

I'm sorry Lisa, the only Benjamin around the right age is 72, and widower lodging with a family in Stockton-on-Tees. I checked the Wales census, just in case he had returned to his roots, and there were two possibles, one was unreadable and the other was married with children with different names to the ones you gave. If you get any more info. I'll gladly look again.
