thank you so much William, that is really lovely of you!!! Just one more additional piece of info, he was as far as we know, sometimes known as Coling/coleen or Colin Yang? I understand that as we have so little info that it is such a long shot, but any help is really appreciated!!! Thank you and Best Wishes Sarah

Hi, I am looking for information on Chinese Immigrants that came into England in the 1930's and 40's. I am looking in particular for information on my grandfather Ah sze Yang who came over to England in the 1930's (ish)and settled briefly in Stepney, London where he worked as a cook (76 West India dock Road, Stepney). He then at some point moved to Liverpool's chinatown in the 1940/50's. He married an English women called Doris May Rushton and had several children. Has anybody have any ideas as to how we may find any additional information on him. We know that he was burried in a cemetary in Liverpool in aproximatly 1965/6, but we have no details as to where. I am awaiting hes death certificate, which may throw some more light on it, but other than this I am at a loss, as to where to look next. Does anyone know of any public records that are available, that may be able to help me? Thank you and kindest Regards, Sarah
