Hi When you go Lincoln FHS can you do me a huge favour and lookup the baptism of Mary Ann Sharman in 1820 in Spalding, father was Robert. Thanks George

Can you also check for me the JOHN SMITH living in wainfleet aged 17 with the howard family. I need to know where it says he was born. If it says spilsby i think i might've found him at last on the 1881 census. I will get a break through soon!!!!! Jess Thank you all so much yous are the best!

Kathleen that's the family. You've confirmed to me that Charles was alive in 1891 cos i can't find him on the 1901 census. Heather the Thomas you found is the right age! but he was deffo born in Thorney. My gt uncle confirmed that. Where was he between 1881 and 1897? It'll remain a mystery. Thank you both.

Jess have had a look for Thomas Brian and the only one that i could find is thus Thomas Brian aged 24 born Longton Staffs Head - Potters Busman ? living at 20 East Road Hannah Brian - wife aged 23 born Longton Staffs hevi

Kathleen thank you so much. That is deffo my GTGt Granddad john Smith. All i have to now is trace him back to 1881. Did it say where he was born? As for thomas Brian have you ahd any look with any of the Brian's i mentioned? John and Ann were his parents and i think he had a brother John Joseph as well Thank you xxx

Hi Jess no luck today with T Thorney,im certain he was there yesterday thats why I asked his age dont know if Ancestry is playing up or if Im just being blonde today, will try again later,however John Smith age 17,Lodger occ ---labourer, lodges with Howard family James head and farmer in Wainfleet cant make out rest of address hope this helps Kathleen

Hiya sorry Thomas Brian b1867 Thorney His parents were John and Ann Brian. I just wanna know if he was still living with his parents OR had actually married as his wife had died just ebfore the 1901 census was taken and i don't know her name apart from her nickname possibly being Betsey. Jess

Looking for Thomas Brian born in Thorney. Possibly still living there or in Lincolnshire. AND John Smith b1874 in Spilsby Lincolnshire. He may have been living in Wainfleet but most definatly Lincolnshire. Jess
