When I tried searching it gave me a list of counties which were fully searchable. Have you tried this pay-per-view site (www.familyhistoryonline.net) It costs something like 5p per record you view and has several counties fully indexed. Good Luck, -Kat

All counties are available on 1891, but not all of the data from each county has been indexed. Have you tried looking at the surname being spelt differently? Also, if you know the area (approx) they lived in just search on the age and first name. I spend months looking for 'Pritchard' and it had been transcibed as 'Richard'. I could tell the word from the original, but only 'cos I knew what it should be!!! Good luck. Tracy

There are only certain counties completed on Ancestry. Click on 1891 census and it should tell you which counties are currently searchable. -Kat

I have been searching for a family for the last 2 hours and can find no trace of any of them. I have them all on the 1881 census and wanted to check if they are the right family and where they were in 1891. They are Thomas Moore 45 Coal Miner Eliza Moore 41 Thomas Moore 25 Coal Miner (probably left home by 1891) Ann Moore 20 (possibly married) Grace Moore 18 (possibly married) Samuel Moore 13 Elizabeth Moore 10 All born in various parts of Durham and living there in 1881. Samuel is the one I am particularly interested in as I have also found my Samuel Moore in 1901 with his wife. Can anyone try a re-check for me as I have search each one using the ages stated above and one year either way. Thanks Lynne
