There is an Albert Marsh born in England in 1867 listed. His wife is Jennie E. He would appear to be a Deputy Marshall. They were living in New Britain, Hartford, Connecticut. Do you think this may be the one. Let me know if you think it's the right one. There is another Marsh family living in the same house that may be connected. Leigh

Hi Christine, It looks like the other Marsh family may be the son and his wife. He is Gilbert P Marsh, age 29, working as an electrician and his wife is Gretchen (I think), age 27, working as a stenographer in a Hardware Factory. Both were born in Connecticut. I hope this helps. Leigh

Maybe the E stands for Elizabeth? I have just checked the 1920 census and the family were still living in the same place. Gilbert is listed as the son on this one. Leigh

1930 is the latest census available. I can search back before 1920 if that would be any use. Leigh

I have found 4 John Dilworths but none of them became a citizen in 1921. Do you have any more information about him. Albert Marsh will take a little more time to find because the previous census' aren't indexed.

The info i have on John Dilworth is that he emigrated to america when he was 9 (but i dont know the year) he became a US citizen in 1921 and worked for the manufacturing company of Becton Dickinson in new jersey, he died at the age of 61 and i think his wife was called either edith or evelyn his sister Agnes lived in connecticut, this is the link i have with albert marsh if you reply to this could you send it to my e-mail address as i may loose it
