Hi again, Thanks for the info - that lets me know the birth years, some of which i didn't know . I can not yet make a connection to Banbury although i have heard that there were quite a few Viggers in the area. Maybe when i get further back there will be a connection. I do know that John (father William) was born in Horley but have found no further info on him at the moment....I was concentrating on the Parr family!. I will hopefully get a chance to see all the references that you have provided. Thanks Joan and thanks again Karen. Regards, Karen

Hi Karen I came across the same problem with the census page if you want to check it at a later date it is Piece 12/2467, Folio 73, Page 14. However, I have a strong feeling that the family of Viggers in Piece RG12/1181 Folio 30 and Piece RG12/1184 folio 59 may be related. Some of the people were born in Horley and in RG12/1181 there is mention of an Helana. The village of Neithrup, Banbury which is near Oxford is the location for these entries. Regards Joan

Hi Karen It's me again. Couldn't read transcript it was black but reference is the same as mentioned in previous message. I put them individually to see who was at the address in Rowington. John 59, Hannah 53, Arthur J 15, Elizabeth 14, and Albert H 10. Couldn't find reference to Sarah Ann or Helen at that address. ? they were married then. The reference to Edward wasn't easy to find but in the BMD there was a Wlliam Edward born in the Banbury registration district 1895 Sept. quarter. maybe this is the Edward you are looking for, but he didn't show on the census. best wishes Karen

Hi , You know this worked so well the last time i did this, i thought i'd push my luck and ask for another look up! Can someone please look for the Viggers family from Rowington, Warwickshire. John Viggers born 1832 Horley, OX Hannah Viggers born 1838 Rowington There should be children called Sarah Ann(1861), Elizabeth(1877) Albert H , Helen(1872) Arthur(1876) and Edward(1886). There may be other children that i've not come across yet and obviously some of those that i've named may be married or living elsewhere. They should all have been born in Rowington though. Grateful for any information you can give, Thanks Karen(again!)
