Charlotte Dalley Info from 1901 Census. Born c1866 Kensington,Paddington Married in June 1886, aged 20 years. Cannot find her on 1837. I have checked all qtr's:1865 + 1866. 1867 qtr's checked: Mar, Jun + Sept. Any ideas? Thanks Kathy Epsom, SRY

Is her baptism on the parish register she may not have been registered but been baptised. Just a thought . Ann.Darlington

Kathleen Found these surnames on the FreeBMD site which could have been transcribed/noted wrongly: Mar q 1864 Greenwich, 1d 644 - Sara Charlotte DALY Dec q 1865 Greenwich, 1d 753 -Edith Charlotte DALE I like the second one better as it is nearer the dates you have. If you want to send for them state that you will only accept the certificate IF the names of her parents are (whatever). Hope this helps Vera Manchester LAN

I have the same problem, my great nannie florence louisa king born 1906 june 6th, found another person with same name from same qtr (what are the chances?!?) got the birth certificate but different parents to those on her marriage certificate??? How can I validate these details? How do I know which ones are correct???

Are you sure she was born in Paddington? The only Charlotte Dalley in the 1881 census is the right age 15 but born at Lambeth, and she's registered 1866 Jun, DALLEY Charlotte, Lambeth 1d 352

Robin, Her birth place is stated as Paddington on the 1901 Census. She married in Marylebone. I saw that Charlotte but was doubtful. I guess it could be an error. Thank you to you all for your help. Kathy Epsom, SRY
