I know that Argentina is very difficult because some of my family moved out there in the 1800's. Even if you know where and when someone was born, their registry is in such a state that you cannot obtain copy certificates. However if they were born there and have British citizenship, then they should have their details at the FRC. Good Luck!

Can anyone tell me how I go on to find out about a birth overseas. Who do you contact. There are no sites that I can see like ours.(ie 1837,family search etc). Thanks Catherine
