This is a great site, but my rellys travelled in 1880 and it doesnt cover that. Does anyone else know of any other sites? Sally, Coventry

I too have had fantastic success with this site, finding the passenger lists for my great grandfathers emmigration trip to the US in 1892, and then separately my great grandmother joining him with their daughter later in the year. This information filled a huge hole for my family. Maxine

I went on this site and found two of my relatives, also photo of the ship they sailed on,still looking for two more but its a brilliant site Christine

If anyone has any rellies that went over to the US they would probably have had to go via New York and arrived at Staten Island.If you go to www.ellisisland.org you can put in a name and it will list all passengers with that surname and their ages. You can also look at a copy of the ships manifest for free. Which also show what address they intended to stay at when they arrived in the US.You have to register to use the service, but again it's free. Catherine
