Advice from Symantec, suppliers of Norton with ref to re-configuring the settings: Open Norton Internet Security (or Norton Personal Firewall). Click Options and if necessary click Internet Security or Personal Firewall. Click on the Web Contents tab. Click Add Site at the bottom of the screen when a new site/domain box appears. Enter the address of the web site that you wish to receive the referer information (freebmd in this case - with full address)and click OK The website address then appears in the left frame of the Options window. Click on the name of the new site and the Global Settings tab. In the Information about visited sites section, uncheck Use Default Settings. Click on Permit and close down Norton Internet Security. Do you have anti-virus software Wendy, perhaps it could be that? I certainly have to change my firewall settings every time I access freeBMD which is a nuisance, perhaps your a-v software has similar options?

Is your PC new? if so may have a free 3 month firewall sub included.

Possibly you have 'cookie' restrictions set too high?? (In Internet Explorer- 'tools' 'internet options' 'privacy'). Just a guess, Marian

Can anyone help me with this site? I keep getting error messages whenever I search refering to a firewall but we don't have a firewall on our PC. What am I doing wrong? Anyone with any tips?
