A couple of days ago I accessed a site (part of rootsweb I'm sure ) which gave me the 1951 census for Glos, also a name list where you could look up all the names appearing in any particular area. I thought I bookmarked it but it seems to be lost forever. I've tried everything but it's an enormous site, and nothing works. The site was laid out like notepad with all families listed transcribed by one group of people, with comments where there was a blot etc. Anyone used a similar site can direct me?

Dorothy, You might be able to find the site in your browser's history. If you hold the Ctrl key down and select H you will see the sites you have visited over the last few days. Crista

Thanks Crista. I did that and got back to the original page I bookmarked. www.rootsweb.com/~cotswold/eastdean51.txt but I can't move to any other section. Sorry to sound such a drip but can't access any other areas or names on that site, and I'm out of my depth! It's a marvellous site for 1851. Any more suggestions?
