1891 look up please for Lancashire

Hi, all you helpful people out there always seem to come up with the goods, so...please can somebody look for a Henry Withington aged 17/18 in the Lancashire area? I think he lived around Manchester but I can't find him on 1881 or 1901 (was probably posted abroad in the army in 1901). His father, also called Henry Withington was in the police force. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Lynda, Thanks for trying anyway. Am beginning to wonder if my ancestor was illiterate and spelt his surname differently...
