I don't know if anyone has seen it but there is a section on tracing people on C4 Teletext from page 460. One of the features if a family tree section it goes from 464 - 465. I haven't found anyone i'm searching for on it, yet!

And for us poor souls who don't get Channel 4 anymore :(( or have old TVs? I looked on http://www(.)teletext(.)co(.)uk and channel 4 but it only seemed to have some pages...

When we lived at another address the old portable we have in our bedroom used to pick up what the bloke across the road was watching on his video!!! Could have been very interesting for us (and a bit embarassing for him) but as his main interest was motorcycle racing it was usually very boring.

Yes exiled to Holland :-) Only BBC1 and 2 for me now so I'll also miss the looking for dad thing. With the old TVs I meant ones without teletext!!!

Two others worth a look at page 461 Lost Touch for tracing old friends (and relations) and 462/3 Service Pals. Both could be useful for more recent (post 1901) searches. Kathleen
