Sounds a possibility, if you know William's father's name, then specify it when you order the certificate. Try the local registrar first as they wont charge if the cert is not the right one. Ros

Hi all i have a question for you? My great great grandfather is William Beatson brn 1855ish in liverpool his wife is Alice brn 1860ish in lancashire. On Lancashire BMD there is a marriage betweeen William Beatson and Alice Little in 1882 in Salford. On the 1881 census there is a William Beatson brn in Liverpool of similar age living as a visitor in salford similarly Alice little lives in salford. Do you follow? Do you think William was visiting salford (for its beautiful scenery) and hooked up with Alice, they marry and return to liverpool. Do you think these are my relatives, as im debating ordering their marriage certificate. Bri liverpool/leeds
