can anyone recommend a good site on irish geneology, i dont mind having to pay i have been looking that long ,i am starting to lose my enthusiasim.

I have not tried this yet, only found it this morning, as looking in Ireland myself, http://www(.)ireland(.)com/ancestor/ there is a charge involved so maybe worth having a look around the site before paying up. I have to go to work soon, so let me know how you get on Good Luck Jackie

For Northern Ireland, try http://proni.nics.gov.uk. For Republic of Ireland, try www.nationalarchives.ie
