thanks Claire for the look up, unfortunately that is not the Henry that I am looking for. Henry Charles Frankis should have been around 38, his wife Sarah was around 37 and he had at least 5 children, Alice 18, Sarah 16, Henry 14, Robert 10, Elizabeth 4. I am not sure whether there are any other children. I know that he was born in in Bethnall Green and he lived in several places around London, including Hammersmith, Wapping and Southwark. I have found him in 1881 and 1901. It might be that there is a transcription error. I found my grandfather on the 1901 census only by looking up my great grandmother. My grandfather had wrongly been entered into the database with his fathers details, making him 29 years older, with a different birthplace!

Hi Marcelo I checked the 1891 for you but found only a Hnery Frankis age 24 living in St George in the Eat in London, Let me now if you need more info Claire

looking for Henry Charles Frankis on the 1891 census. He is probably in either Hammersmith or Bethnall Green. Age would be 38. Any help would be much appreciated
