I know I have mentioned this before but once again and for the last time. There is a Fair in Scarborough 14th September 10-5.£2 entry.I promise you I have no self interest. I am travelling from Wilts to go and also do some research in Bradford and Lincs for the week and so I am incorporating the fair as well. Am I sad,I could have been going to France but prefer a week researching. I would recommend a 'Fair' to anyone as there is so much there to see and buy. Say hello if you see me. I am the ugly one with the tall blonde who wears a brown rucksack on her back. lol John

John If I make it I'll be the short blonde one with a fag hanging out my mouth and 2 screaming kids and a bored looking husband in tow! Jeanette

Ah you think I forgot to say where it was....... I left it out to see if you were all paying attention. :o) It's at The spa complex. Re History fairs............. they sell CD's and books, photos anything to do with genealogy. FHS are also there for questions etc. It takes about 2 hrs just wandering around never mind seriously looking. They are not just exclusive to the area they are in but are mainly so. Oh don't forget the Miadstone one either. :o) In fact try and make an effort to all FHS near to you.

Hevi, Thanks for those dates, I live in Bournemouth so will probably go to the Dorset and Eastleigh ones. I've never been to one before and am looking forward to it. My friends think I'm losing the plot getting so excited about all this genealogy stuff but its addictive! Sam

Hopefully I will go to the Eastleigh one in October. Never been to one before and would like to see what it is all about. I will be the old grey haired man with funny specs !! (Blind in one eye and cannot see much out of the other !) John Ranger
