They must have been very popular those pearl buttons, well in Aston !! our families would probably have had rival companies i dont know small world.

i am going to have to buy one i think if only there was a maiden name data base perhaps someone will come up with one soon as its another way for these companies to make money from us.

Yes i think so and also they lived at 15 Parliment st circa 1881 as pearl button makers

Her first child was born circa 1862 her name was Emily Baker

I think the marriage would have been pre1962 i dont have marys maiden name, that what is causing my brain to hemerage Ha ps they are from Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire

Has anyone got access to any Pre 1881 records i am desperate to find out the maiden name for Mary A Baker (b1847) married Charles Baker (b1845) My tree has come to a halt.
