Hi,Chris,Elizabeth has found a marriage for Michael and Susan on the Durham website. As they are not on the census,it is quite probable that they were still in Ireland in 1861.Thank you for taking the time to look. Diane

Diane I have looked in Bishop Auckland and the only Michael Morgan I can find had a wife called Mary and it looks like he was aged 32 He also came from Ireland though I can't make out the place name as the writing isn't that clear Chris

I would appreciate any info on Michael Morgan, who was born in Ireland in 1839.He married Susan[poss.maiden name Murray] I know of only two children,Annie and Mary both born in Bishop Auckland,Durham [1864 and 1869ish]The family were in Liverpool by 1881,where Michael was a licensed victualler. I would love to know if Michael was in Durham by 1861,especialy if the census gives the county in Ireland where he was born.Any help with this family prior to 1881 gratefully received.
