Hi, I'm looking for two sisters catherine smith (age approx 14) and Alice Smith (age aprox 12, my g gran). They where both born in farnworth, lancashire. I have been to the local library and looked at the 1891 census and found their parents and siblings but they are not living with them. (rest of family living at 7 church st farnworth) I would look it up myself at the library but i can only search by address there. There is also another sister missing Sarah A smith (age approx 19) but i suppose she could be married by then. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Using Farnworth, Lancs, as the birth place, this is all I could find: Catherine Smith, 13, Servant, living at 2 Borland (?) Street, Widnes. District 17, page 40. Alice Smith, 12, Servant (Nurse Girl) living at Moss Bank Cuerdley. District 4,page 4. Alice Smith, 12, daughter of Amos and Mary, at 37 & 39 Peel Street, Farnworth. District 3, page 17. Sarah A Smith, 17, Daughter of Eli and Ann, at Harcourt Street, Farnworth. District 1, page 47. Don't know whether that helps or not. Jan.
