brenda, have tried all that,i rang my isp today, he told me to do that , still no joy! i'v just tried it again, still the same!!!!i even scanned my computer twice today, and it's clear!! no viruses at all! i got a message pop up on o.e the other day saying they had deleted a file which contained a virus called SOBIG,since then i'v had problems with it,but as i said there are no viruses on my computer!! i'll have to get back to my isp i think.

re Outlook express I got an e-mail attachment from someone on hotmail yesterday and O.E deleted it because it said it was unsafe Sometimes I get a message saying it can't access pop3 but it's usually if the server is busy Have you checked your settings for your e-mail and news servers? To do this go to tools then on accounts When this opens click on Mail This will show your acccount Click on properties on the side menu When this opens up click on Servers and there you will see your settings for your POP3 and News accounts Sometimes re entering these solves problems OR if you are using Windows XP go back to a restore point and see if that helps Bren
