Thanks for the info. I get so confused with some of these things, I found quite a few documents that could be interesting and just e-mailed the contact address to ask what to do next, but sometimes takes ages to hear from them doesn't it? Sarah

It is a good site. From memory there is something on the right hand side to click to get the info and then it takes a few seconds to give you the information. Have found some of my rellies there.

Hello everyone, just recently found this board and am trying to pick up tips off you all!! Thought someone might find this site interesting www.a2a.pro.gov.uk. Means Access To Archives apparently. Have just been on it and did a search on the family name and it lists all the documents held on that person. Not quite sure how you get hold of them after that but it looks quite interesting. Sarah
