Rosi, Snap, just found out my ggggrandfather was born in Ireland c1830s. I haven't done any research on him yet, but have found the following sites which may help you. www(.)genuki(.)org(.)uk - this has links to irish info www(.)irishorigins(.)com I think Ancestry(.)com also covers Irish info. Hope this is some help. Good Luck Lindsay, Bolton

This message is already on the Guest - but it was suggested it might get more response here! All/any help greatly appreciated. I knew it was likely- but now it has happened! One of my just received certs. proves that my ancesters are/were Irish. William M Kearns married Letitia H Brough, both widowed, in 1876. Their fathers, respectively John Kearns, Doctor, an Henry Evans, Colonel, were Dublin born. I would appreciate any help/advice as to how to proceed from here. Fingers are crossed that someone may be able to point me in the right direction - please! Rosi
