Paul I know I was able to get free searches a couple of years ago but then it seemed to stop for the electoral roll and the people finder and I was being asked to be a paid subscriber. I will have another go and see if it is freely available again. many thanks Sue

Just to say that I don't think everyone will be on the Electoral Roll. I believe that since last year, an extra column was added to the form we all fill in, giving us the option to say we did not want to be included in the "edited" version of it. As I understood it, the edited version can be purchased by any member of the public. You may find therefore, that some people might have opted not to appear on those versions which can be purchased. Mind you, I've mentioned this to other people, and none of them had even noticed that they had a choice anyway! Dierdre X
