Please could someone who has paid access to ancestry.com do a lookup for me. I have 2 hits on John Garfield in Warwickshire and don't want to have to spend all that money joining just for 2 names....I have Scottish in me too ;-) many thanks.

Hi Sarah, Im not sure what is there. I typed in my John Garfield in the parish and probate records search for Warwickshire. It changed pages to an ancestry page that wanted $$99 ($300 NZ) to access them and Im afraid thats a bit rich for this old bird. Can you help please?

Sylvia just remembered. Good job you didn't pay. Parish and probate records 1 record was a female Garfield getting married in 1768 and other 1 was John Garfield marrying Eleanor Blackwell 11 Dec 1735. That could be of some use to you as it could be your John's father or Grandfather. Good Luck. Sarah.
