thanks everyone for replying thought it was just me ! i went off line for a while, when i came back the same thing happend again! only took two goes this time tho! it must be either slow or busy tonight.

Hi, I have been having similar problems for the last couple of days - no sooner on the web then I get chucked off, usually after the "page cannot be displayed" shows up. I have BT Broadband Openworld installed - thought it would be better than it is actually, and am really getting annoyed with the blooming thing. I find I have to power down before I can get back on the net. I did wonder if this was the "virus" but as I only have Windows 98 I understood the virus would not attack. I am a complete computer dinosaur anyway, so wouldn't know a virus unless it bit me!! Jacqui

I've had trouble too. Keep getting kicked off and then the pages on Internet Explorer wouldn't load and also when I checked my email it kept telling me the server couldn't be found. I'm on Freeserve and have problems for the last couple of day. Very frustrating!!!! Mel

has anyone had problems connecting to the internet tonight?? took me 4or5 attempts!!!!!!!!!!!
