Those MAGGS are a bit of a worry! I found 2 alfreds but am not sure what to make of them. See .... Died 1864 At Sea Death Place of Registration Sydney 1864 #15361 Died 1885 Fathers name Alfred, Mothers name Annie, Place of Registration Marine (not sure what this is as we don't have Marines!!) 1885 # 15361 The first Alfreds parents were unknowns. The only other bit of info I gathered today was Eliza B MAGGS married Partick M BARLOW, 1911 in Gunnedah #9466. That is pronounced Gun-a-dar and is in NSW. Sorry I couldn't give you a bit more but was only there for 3 hours. Do not despair! I will be spending some time there again next week and will get back onto it for you! Sonja |
