sally made a brilliant suggestion, that i try and ring the cardiff history society to see about the last known address i had, well 118 118 didnt have a number for that but they did the libary 02920382116 if anyone needs any info on an address in wales if you send a s.a.e. to (local studies) central libary ,fredrick street cardiff wales cf10 2du they said they may search for you. well my letter is going of this morning so fingers crossed i might find something out soon. hope this helps someone tinaxx

Lesley, do you know if the records office will do look-ups for us poor folk well out of range of their office? I want some info. on Cardif Constabulary in 1891 and understand the records office have index etc. however, I live in Nottingham and no hope of visiting Cardiff in the near future. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks. Jacqui ps sorry for butting in on this one but I think I read that Lesley lives close to Cardiff and she might know the answer to my question

They hold the electoral rolls for Cardiff. If you write in they may well check for you. Sally

You Can E Mail Cardiff Library with your request Having problems, It wint let me post e mail address for Cardiff Library. Even if I use brackets. Go into google and you will find it Sally

hi everyone, sally i know weve spoken on the phone but i thought id post whats happening on here for anyone who wants to know. ive emailed central libary asking for any information concerning eric and anne so fingers crossed i may hear something soon.i'll let you all know as soon as i know thanking you tinaxx
