Thanks for that Debbie. George's wife didn't die till 1899 so she must have been elsewhere on census night. The other help there is the 2 lodgers, they are related. William Davies' sister Jane later on marries the William 6m old in David Tudors family, after her 1st husband dies down the mine. So that has given us further clues. Thanks a load John

Excellent, Thank you both very much, that is the one. George is his brother, if possible could you supply info re George. The David ghas been such a problem esp. his son William. David dies before 1901. There are so many Williams' we have had problems re Will and David. that has sorted it, thanks again, John
