Hi Suzanne, I think it might be Barony Street, it's in central Edinburgh- I used to live there. Maurice was a busy man indeed! Do you have access to the 1891 for Scotland? Thanks Regards Margaret

Hi Rod I found your Jonas family on the 1891 SCOTTISH census. They are: Maurice, Head, 53, skin merchant, born Germany Pauline, Wife, 45, born Germany Henrietta, Daur, 23, vocal student, born Leith Emma, Daur, 22, born Leith Joseph, Son, 20, commercial traveller, born Leith Rosallie, Daur, 17, born Edinburgh Janette, Daur, 16, born Edinburgh Herman, Son, 12, born Edinburgh Pauline, Daur, 9, born Edinburgh Maurice, Son, 8, born Edinburgh Leopold, Son, 7, born Edinburgh Charles B, Son, 5, born Edinburgh Boy, were they a busy couple!! They were living at 8 Baromy(?) Street, Edinburgh. Hope that helps.
