If you lose some one in 1881 do a first name search with year of birth and the county and often enough it comes up with a decent match. George

Thanks that's brilliant. It probably explains why a few other Habberfield's from the Locking area seem to appear and disappear over the years. I'm going to go away and do some checking on Happerfields

I have a family in 1891 of Wm Haberfield (age 56 born Locking Somerset) wife Ellen (age 57 born Loxton Somerset), daughter Emma (age 34 born Banwell) living in Walcot In 1901 I can see William age 65, Ellen age 66 living in Bath. I think I have Emma in 1881 living in Old Windsor working as a Ladysmade Domestic servant. Tried all variations on habberfield but cant find William and Ellen in 1881, any help from eagle eyed persons out there would be greatfully appreciated
