Hi vera - I would have been up for it , as I am only in Staffs, but it clashes with my Monthend accounts(who said accountants don't have a life? - they were right!). But I hope you all have a great time and have a swift mineral water on me! Regards Maxine

Date: Wednesday 3rd December 2003. Time: From 12 noon to 4.30 pm. Venue: The Function Room of the Visitor Centre of the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys & St. George, known to all as MANCHESTER CATHEDRAL. As well as the function room in the Visitor Centre there is a licensed Restaurant, opened in July this year, and an award winning Coffee Bar offering a eclectic selection of home cooked food. There is home-made soup, delicious sandwiches, choices of hot meals and mouthwatering cakes. Wine is served by the glass or bottle as well as tea, coffee and mineral water. Therefore may I suggest that you all save your appetite - no need to bring any sandwiches - we can have our lunch in superb surroundings and get to know each other and, I hope, enjoy your visit to my city. See the Cathedral where so many of the baptisms and marriages of our ancestors took place and in the basement restaurant itself can be seen the famous Hanging Bridge, Manchester's only scheduled 15th century monument. Get your names on the list by e-mailing DIRECT to Jen in Staffs as she is doing the register, I just found the venue! We need between 25 and 30 people to join us so GET YOUR NAME IN QUICK. See you all Vera, Manchester
