Wow! We've been reading through this board for a few days now and have already seen how generous everyone is with their help, but to get two replies to our first message within minutes of posting it was amazing! Thanks again. We're sure that someone will know the answer to this one! Is there any way of finding a birth record using just the mothers maiden name (if unmarried at time of birth) or do we need the fathers name too if it was entered as the childs surname? Also, top tip for newbies like us! When posting a message on this board don't forget to put a subject in the title bar!!! Thanks Tony and Eleanor |
