One of my book club's choices was the above named book by Peter Christian. My ears pricked up - as they do! - and as it was 8-99 rather than the full price of 10-99 i ordered it. It arrived very quickly and its a great resource for us family historians! There are links and tips galore. I've only just flicked though it and found many of the old favourites we all know about, but so much more besides. The SoG are quoted on the front cover saying - 'a first class reference book' Apologies to those who know about it already, my copy is a second expanded edition, but for those just starting out, it could be gold!
