Thanks Penny If you've got the time perhaps you could have a look for one of my elusive rellies. 1881 and 1901 census' have him as Frederick Lock born Ridge, Herts. Hugh Wallis has a William Frederick Nicholl Lock christened 1 April 1838(should I be wary of this date!) Ridge, Hertford mother Hannah Lock father Nicholl. He married a lady called Susan. I don't know her surname but their 1st child was born 1870 so I'm assuming sometime around then. I believe he died sometime between 1901 and 1916. Jeanette |

Hi Jeanette They have births, christenings and marriages from England, Scotland Ireland and wales. Some areas are more complete than others so it can be a bit hit-and-miss. I've not found any of my own rellies yet, but I keep looking. Penny |
