Anna,, I am having trouble opening the link to the page that holds the info you need about the household of Brice/Bryce. I decided to go another way around it and clicked on the page number at the bottom of the entry. It brought the whole page up with the family on and here they are.. Thomas Brice --Head--age 32--born on South Stockton. Yorks Ann Brice--wife--age 32--born Southwick Ann--dau--age 10 months born Southwick Catherine. S --age 5 years born Southwick John .Y --age13 years born Southwick Jane Y --age 3 born Southwick Plus Henry of course...!! Do you think this is the family? Claire

Thanks for that Clare.I think the 11 yr old one must be mine.He is down as 1yr on 1881 and then 21 in 1901.He married my great aunt in 1903 and i have just sent away for their wedding cert which should give me his fathers name,and also who i think is thier first Sons Birth cert.I need to try and work out where the Young name came from,I had assumed it was the mothers maiden name but with you finding a Thomas Y Brice on 1891 also, he is the correct age for Henrys father so i need to do some more research.I also found the brith of a Thomas Y Brice(Bryce) in 1899 and another one in 1897,both of which i need to check. Anna I found a Hnery Y Brice on the 1891 age 11 so that would be about the right age,,,also a Thomas Y Brice age 32,,both of Sunderland, Unfortunatly I was unable to view the original pages of the census but I did find a Thomas Y Brice married in 1877 in Sunderland and a birth in 1899.

I think the one Patricia has found maybe the correct ones,i just need to get Henrys birth cert to confirm parentage.I have found them on 1901 with child Thomas aged 5 and Henry aged 21and more children in between.I wonder where they have got to on 1891.

Hello Anna I have had a look too, trying all ways of spelling Bryce, and trying Young as a first and surname, but no luck I'm afraid. Have you found him on the 1881?
