Would anyone be able to help, I'm having trouble reading the Parish name on a marriage certificate. The cert is from 1865 marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Saint ???? in the County of M????. I'm assuming the county is Monmouthshire, the Saint Looks like Orwand, Orwald, Oswand or it could even begin with a C. Can't really tell u much more, the reg district is Chepstow, tried getting on freebmd to see what it has listed under Chepstow but it appears to be down at the moment, would be grateful for any ideas! Thankyou. Sarah |

Hi Sarah, There's a St. Osmunds in Tarlton near Cirencester - don't know whether that would fall under Chepstow. Emma. |
