Hello William Army Records of Officers and Soldiers whose service ended before 1921 are at the National Archives in Kew. Microfilm copies of World War One Service Records are also held by the LDS. Films can be requested for viewing at their local Family History Centres. ARMY CONTACT ADDRESSES Officers and Soldiers whose service ended between 1921 and 1997 are held at Army Perconnel Centre, HQ Disclosures, Mail Point 400, Kentigern House, 65 Brown Street, Glasgow G2 8EX Tel:- 0141 224 2144 no charge for the service of historical disclosures to ex service personnel enquiring about their own service or widows or widowers asking about their spouse's service - All other enquiries are charged £25.00 which is non refundable. All Family interest enquiries are currently taking 4-6 months to complete. This information was in my forms I receive today from Army Personnel I hope you find it useful. Shirley

Kaz If you go to the website listed below, you can get detials on how to get service records. There is a charge of £25 and you have to be next of kin or get permission from next of kin if the person is deceased. They also take a fair few months to process it.
