My Gr Grandfather, Joseph Jones, says on his M cert and army record that he was born in Woolwich, Kent in 1860. I can find no trace of him and at that time Lewisham was registration district. 3 JJ's Born, none mine. Where else should I look. I cannot find His father's army record either although he was a Serg. Major! |
